In our language school, 6-levels interactive education model is applied. In this model, we include mainly North American English, but also all different usages, considering that English learners should learn the usages from different parts of the world. At the first 4 levels, General English, and at the later 2 levels an Academic English education is given. Our courses are designed to help students practice all aspects of the English language with an emphasis on oral fluency and progress systematically. Our lessons include a balance of activities focusing on the key areas of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation as well as development of the students' skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.

* Upper-Intermediate
* Advanced
Each level takes between 8 to 15 weeks to finish, based on program schedules. A quiz is given after 62 hours, and a final after 126 hours. The student must achieve 70% in order to pass to the next level. Attendance, being active during the lessons and the tests are also important.
The 6 Levels education systems are valid worldwide. A healthy education is only possible in classes which are suited to the student’s level. Students of socallaa are put in the most suitable levels after a detailed assessment test.
Each level consists of 128 lessons. Mini-quizzes during the course, a midterm test in the middle, and a final test at the end of the course are conducted.
A language can best be learned from a native speaker, but only if they are educated and certified. socallaa chooses its entire teaching staff from degreed teachers and displays the diplomas in their administrative offices. Each teacher's resume is carefully inspected and researched.

Placement Test
In order for students to receive an effective education a placement test is provided for our students who are newly registered or have an extended break from their studies at So Cal Language Academy so they may be placed at a appropriate level.

Teaching Staff
The education in our language school is given by experienced, degreed and certified native speaking teachers whom are capable of teaching English to adults learning English as a second language. They make learning fun by using multimedia devices.

Privileges of studying at SOCALLAA
In order to provide one-to-one communication with the student and the learning process to be effective, classes are formed with 15 students at SOCALLAA. Based on our teacher-based interactive educational system, a U-shaped in-class seating plan which proved most effective was approved, so students will have no problems interacting with their teachers and classmates. Plus, it's been scientifically proved that this type of sitting plan is successful in terms of following what is written on the board and dialogues. Also, in SOCALLAA, we offer TOEFL exam preparatory course.
General English and Business English for companies, English for Special Purpose (ESP) for companies, fluency and special intensive learning for executives (VIP English) programs are also offered.

TOEFL Preparation
This course prepares students for the TOEFL examination test. A TOEFL score is internationally known in the English-speaking community and is a must for enrollment in colleges and universities.

MEDICAL INSURANCE
All students are advised to have health insurance. Health costs are the sole responsibility of the student.

CERTIFICATES
Certificates are awarded upon successful completion of your program. Good attendance is an important part of certificate eligibility in all programs.
